Over the summer 2024, CCHS will undertake the project of repainting the historic markers within the city of Cortland.
There are four markers in the city, three of which will be repainted by CCHS volunteers in the coming months.
- Camp Cambell (located in front of the Armory on Wheeler Ave.)
- Port Watson (located near the bridge on Port Watson St.)
- Headwaters of Tioughnioga (located in front of Friendly’s on Rte.13)
- Lydia Strowbridge (located in front of the hospital on Homer Ave.- currently receiving maintenance by the Department of Transportation)
